Fees, disbursements and recoverable costs

Below are details of the costs that apply where your claim relates to an unpaid invoice or invoices which are not disputed. If the other party disputes your claim at any point, this will then be considered as a contested matter. At that time we will provide you with revised advice about costs and your options, which may be on a fixed fee or hourly rate basis. Our standard hourly rates are available within the information below

Issuing a Claim

Anyone wishing to proceed with a claim should note that:

      • The VAT element of our fee cannot be reclaimed from your debtor.
      • Interest and compensation may take the debt into a higher banding, with a higher cost.

Under the Civil Procedure Rules fixed costs are recoverable, on top of the original debt balance based on fixed fee tables. The link to the latest fixed fee tables is below

For contested or defended claims, where a new bespoke fixed fee is not agreed, the following hourly rates would be applied:-
